Is it free?
SM2 Multiplayer is available through our Patreon for $10. That gets you the mod, every update and early builds of new features as they land. You still need your own copy of the game on PC.
Does everyone need the same game version?
Yes, and the same mod version. The mod checks both when you join and tells you if something doesn't match.
Whose save is used?
Everyone plays from their own save. The host's world is the one that counts, and syncing more of it (crimes, missions) is exactly what we're building next.
Will it mess up my game?
The mod doesn't change your save files. New features switch themselves off on your PC if they ever crash there, and you can remove the mod in Overstrike at any time.
I have an AMD graphics card and the game crashes.
The game's own Anti-Lag 2 option is a known cause of Radeon driver crashes. The mod turns it off for you. Restart the game once after the first launch.
Where do I report bugs?
On Discord. Attach smt2-coop.log and smt2-thread-probe.log from the game's scripts folder.
